Setuju Mas, Konsep server room atau data center, memang ada levelingnya, ada yang cukup 30 menit, 1 jam s/d 2 jam saja (2 jam sudah agak terll lama sbenarnya). selebihnya ya harus masuk ke genset (generator) krn best practise pd umumnya seharusnya seperti itu yang memang perlu dipikirkan adalah auto switch dari PLN - GENSET seharusnya bisa berlangsung otomatis sehingga UPS hanya berfungsi sebentar, menstabil arus dan tegangan dari PLN/Genset-nya sehingga perangkat servers/network tidak terkena spike listrik dari peralihan2 tsb. dan juga UPS untuk mengantisipasi jika auto switch ada problem sehingga UPS bisa cover sementara waktu sambil auto switch di perbaiki oleh teknisi gedung/pihak terkait... Itu saya tahu. Tapi kalo ada server ukuran 2U dengan daya misalkan 800VA, lalu dipasangkan UPS yang bisa support 48 jam, bisa bisa total battery pack-nya bisa menghabiskan keseluruhan tower 72U. Menyediakan daya untuk continuous power menggunakan batere sampai 48 hours itu sangat tidak wajar untuk suatu data center normal. Lebih wajar adalah maksimum 1 jam, dengan switching secara otomatis atau manual ke generator menggunakan BBM. Mencoba menambahkan... keep save nya bapak mungkin bisa mengikuti langkah berikut ini : 1. Bapak perlu menyediakan UPS yang bisa menghandle beban listrik yang bapak gunakan, normally hanya bisa mengcover +/- 60Menit. 2. Bapak perlu menyediakan Genset (Type/modelnya mengikuti beban listrik yg bapak gunakan) agar ketika listrik dari PLN hidupnya lama sedangkan cadangan batre semakin menipis maka bapak bisa langsung menghidupkan Gensetnya.
