Pengalaman Saya hampir semua sistim Linux Compatible dengan peripheral apapun, kecuali memang ada beberapa vendor mengharuskan load driver (Toshiba A75) misalnya, tapi sekarang hampir 99 % sudah bisa teratasi dengan banyaknya masukan dari pengguna/pengembang Mungkin patut dicoba 1. Jangan membuat partisi dari Windows 2. Biarkan Partisi kosong, misalnya C, D, E (E jangan di Partisi) 3. Salam kenal smua Saya lg ada masalah tentang instalasi debian pada laptop Acer 4740 TravelMate, harddisk pake Hitachi, pada waktu proses instalasi debian ternyata harddisk tidak terbaca, dan EthernetCard juga tidak tebaca, akhirnya saya membatalkan proses instalasi. Saya pakai CD Debian 5.0.6 Netinst i386 tolong bantu saya teman...
