saya juga pernah instal windows xp dengan menggunakan aspire 4720. aspire 4720 memakai sata seperti yang dibilang x808x. coba liat di bios memakai hardisk apa,terus search di google. nanti tinggal download ada program. aku rada lupa.. ntar program itu akan membuat booting dengan menggunakan floopy disk. sorry hanya bisa membantu ini, karena aku rada lupa. Coba baca baik2 lagi, sepertinya sich tipe HDD-nya yg terbaca di BIOS bukan IDE, tapi IDE SATA. Ada tulisan SATA-nya gak di BIOS pas lihat informasi mengenai HDD tsb. Klo benar ada tulisan SATA-nya, saran dari saya pada posting terdahulu silahkan dilakukan dulu. Dgn syarat anda harus pasang USB Floppy Disk Drive punya teman atau bisa juga beli sendiri. Saya juga pernah mengalami hal seperti tsb di notebook Dell Latitude D630. Dicoba saja dulu download driver untuk HDD SATA tsb dari link dibawah ini: http://service.acer.com.ph/download/aspire_4310_4710.zip Klo anda gak punya USB Floppy Disk Drive, coba ikuti langkah2 untuk install Win-XP dari link dibawah ini: http://komku.blogspot.com/2007/08/install-windows-xp-on-acer-aspire-4710.html Driver untuk HDD Sata tsb bisa dipakai juga untuk Laptop Acer Aspire 4720.
