Funny, the day after I learned about this way of powering down a next gen RE, I had to do it for a technician that was pulling an RE for RMA return to jtac because of a bad ssd. I forgot at first that this was how to do it, so I couldn't find how to power down RE... root@960-lab> request system ? Is the confusion how it could possibly make sense to power on your vmhost, when you're running on it? I believe the use-case is mostly to power-on/power-off vmhost on non-current RE. Cool. Is there another parameter specify which VM to power-on, maybe a service VM? I wonder why the MX150 doesn't have any vmhost commands. It would come in handy for some issues.
