[plasmashell] [Bug 393630] System tray icons not clickable and collapsible when an entry's visibility is changed to hidden
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=393630 --- Comment #19 from Michael Kaiser --- No icons are hidden here so there's no system tray down button. When it happens some of the icons work permanently (remmina, telegram) others very occasionally but mostly never (network, clipboard, sound, kconnect, devices, printer, monitor settings). Instead I'm getting the empty "system & notifications" 'popdown'. And the keepassxc icon isn't shown anymore. I.e. when creating an Addressbook entry and assign multiple GPG keys to it, kmail used to encrypt the emails to all of those GPG keys before submission. This does not work any more. Instead, kmail states that it cannot find the key for the given email address as in my case that email address is a mail-exploder email address without its own GPG key. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have an email address without a GPG key 2. Create an addressbook entry for this email address and assign GPG keys to it in the addressbook 3. compose an email with kmail and encrypt it to that email address OBSERVED RESULT kmail does not know the recipient key and asks for it. [palapeli] [Bug 312267] Crash of Palapeli at the end of the puzzle's reconstitution
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312267 Ian Wadham changed: What|Removed |Added CC||iandw...@gmail.com --- Comment #5 from Ian Wadham --- As the last maintainer of Palapeli, I think it is premature to close this bug and others like it. I believe that they share the same underlying cause and I see nothing in the commit history https://phabricator.kde.org/source/palapeli/history/master/ to suggest that the bugs have been fixed since September 2017. They were certainly active then and resisted efforts by Christian Ehrlicher and myself to nail them down. They are highly intermittent and non-reproducible. See the kde-games-devel archive at https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/kde-games-devel/2017-September/thread.html for discussions of the issues. Back then I did try Christian's idea of extending the animation time for the "merge pieces" action, but still failed to reproduce the problem as it occurs during normal game-play. Unfortunately I am unable to try the KF5 and Qt5 version of Palapeli. That said, the bugs are very annoying but fairly harmless when they cause Palapeli to crash, because Palapeli saves the puzzle state every 2 seconds and the user gets a fairly "hot" recovery when he/she re-runs Palapeli. Crashes occur intermittently around once per hour on large puzzles. Other bugs that I believe are related to this one (bug 312267) are bug 31194, bug 303059 and bug 336075. Christian resolved the last of those in Sept 2017 (D7637), see https://phabricator.kde.org/R423:39cf28839784a4daca127ca4032e55239732def4 The most commonly occurring crashes are represented by 31194 and 303059. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

This will be especially usefull when timelapse photos are mixed with single-shots, or when importing from a sports camera like Gopro. Photos from the same timelapse are assumed to have an increasing number in their filename (IMG0001.jpg, IMG2.jpg and so on). They will be also taken with the same time interval between each other (ex. every 30 seconds or so). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Compile with the patch provided 2. Import some files that belong to a timelapse. 3. Select imported files (and more possibly) and use the context menu to select Group->Group By Timelapse / Burst EXPECTED RESULT Images belonging to the same timelapse should be grouped together. The selection process should be smart enough to distinguish several different timelapses from each other as well as ignore single-shot photos in between. SOFTWARE VERSIONS All ADDITIONAL INFORMATION All suggestions are welcome :) I'm wondering whether the minimum acceptable number of photos in a series should be configurable in the GUI. I think I've discovered this occurs if Kmail2 is started during the normal power-up process but not if it's started manually when the system is running, however the problem doesn't always appear. I've attached a file containing filter-log output which demonstrates the problem and a filter-listing. This may be related to the following bug reports: 378231, 384943, 118213. I've also noticed another issue which isn't important but may be related. When Kmail is started automatically during power-up, the download progress-bar is frequently displayed immediately at 0% even though no download should be happening (Retrieval Options > Check mail on startup is off), and checking mail doesn't appear to work. Restarting Kmail then clears the problem. The software versions are Kmail2 V5.5.2 running on OpenSuSE Leap 42.3, with all updates applied. Regards, David Lochrin STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. See above, but problem is intermittent. 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT Filters are not actioned, or not completely actioned. [kpat] [Bug 290647] Forty & Eight solver falsely reports "Game cannot be won"
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=290647 Ian Wadham changed: What|Removed |Added CC||iandw...@gmail.com --- Comment #5 from Ian Wadham --- Like Duncan, I play Forty and Eight a lot... :-) ...and get this same bug. FWIW the solver sometimes also gives false positives re winning. I think this happens when its "winning" sequence includes an illegal move. I can overcome that by using Undo and then one or two moves of Demo to get past the illegal move and go on to win... ;-) i.e. Demo permits the same illegal move as solver. IIRC the illegal move is to move two cards that are not consecutive, although (I seem to remember) the two cards are in the same suit. I doubt now if I shall ever get around to having a go at fixing these bugs, but if you are interested, Parker, I could try and capture more details next time it happens.
