Re: [LegacyUG] Move to a previous version
Thank you,I misspoke... After making a gedcom of your Family File(s), you will have to uninstall Legacy then delete the files in the c:\Legacy folder - being careful not to delete any of your saved files such as reports, pictures, etc. Then install the previous version of Legacy over that. You can't go back to a previous *build* of v7.5 - those are no longer available, only the final builds of previous *versions* of Legacy are. That is v3, 4, 5 and 6. The gedcom will lose your SourceWriter sources (moot point if you're going back to a previous version since SourceWriter was introduced in v7) and history list and the dates added and modified will be changed to the date you import the gedcom. [LegacyUG] Decendant Narrative Text Report Formatting
The most recent update seems to have changed something in the layout for the Decendant Narrative Text Report when saving it as an RTF file. I tried two different word processor (Microsoft Word 2010 and LibreOffice) I cannot set margins. The report is generated with about a 4 inch left margin and I cannot find a way to reformat it globally. A report I generated before the last update came out perfect, so I believe something broke it. Any Suggestions? I need to prepare a 300 page booklet by next week and I am stuck. Thanks, A.J. Then copy the event to the event clipboard, then for the children that appear on that census I copy the event to their individual event and then use just their line of information in the notes section of the event.
