Hey, I’m Gise lle .I’m a SEO Executive living in New York, NY. I am a fan of
technology, web development, and entrepreneurship. I’m also interested in
innovation and design.

Indeed, you should pay several wholes as a charge cost to send cash from Paypal
to Cash App. All things considered, you need to move this whole into your
record by paying a 1% charge cost, after that you are allowed to send money
into the Cash application account. For extra demands, don't stop for one second
to connect with us.

Thank you! Actually I removed those lines, but otool still showed me the min
version of 10.10 and sdk n/a.

So I changed the header with an hex editor, so that I have

cmd LC_VERSION_MIN_MACOSX
  cmdsize 16
  version 10.15
  sdk 11.0

The app now started in the dark mode, so I know, that it uses the new SDK.
There are no changes, the text is still blurred. I will take a closer look to
the text drawing methods, because I also figured out, that the text in a
Combobox for example is blurred as well. But I will need a lot of time to get
an overview, how all this drawing works (maybe in the end I can at least help
improving the dark mode :))

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48713

Dear Christopher M. Penalver,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:
https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

Warm Regards,
QA Team

Seems related to bug 83671, possibly duplicate, but hard to know at this stage.

Created attachment 167381
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=167381&action=edit
Screenshot, LO 7.1, Linux

I checked this in a bit more detail. On Windows, with default rendering, this
has been fixed since 6.0.0.3. With OpenGL rendering, it was still pitch black
until the switch to Skia in 7.0 (can't check with Skia/Vulkan now, it looks
fine in Skia/Raster in a current master build).

On Linux, it still doesn't look correct in the latest master bibisect repo
build, it changed from pitch black to visible, but dark in the center between
6.4 and 7.0 (see screenshot). I'm inclined to keep this bug report open, but it
could be split as a Linux-specific issue to a separate bug report as well.

Note that the text placement in the table is still off, often too high, and the
"Δh" looks weird, too. This issue definitely deserves its own bug report.

Take a spreadsheet and enter number 2 in cell A1 and number 3 in cell A2.
Go to cell A3 and open menu Data > Validity.
Select "Custom" from the 'Allow:' drop-down list in tab 'Criteria'. You get a
new field 'Formula'.
Enter text A3=A1+A2 into this field. That would be a valid entry. You can try
it out later.

Now click on button "Help". You get the correct help page, but neither the
entry "Custom" nor the field "Formula" are mentioned.

To try the formula close the dialog. Enter number 6 into cell A3. You should
get an error message. Only number 5 will be accepted.

The formula can be any expression that evaluates to a boolean value "true" or
"false".

Description:
For dev sources checked out from git (commit
de1ac1c349435a229aec8682f8f8a796c3ca4dc5), I get the following error when
building:

libreoffice/external/icu/ExternalPackage_icu.mk:37: *** file
workdir/UnpackedTarball/icu/source/lib/libicudata.so.67.1 does not exist in the
tarball. Stop.
make: *** [Makefile:282: build] Error 2

It looks like the ICU library was updated. The unpacked version is numbered
libicudata,so.68.* but the makefile thinks it should be 67?

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download the dev sources from git.

2. Call configure with the following options:

export CC="gcc"
export CXX="g++"
export CFLAGS="-march=znver2 -O3 -pipe "
export CXXFLAGS="$CFLAGS"
export PARALLELISM=6

./configure --srcdir=/home/myname/src/libreoffice
--enable-option-checking=fatal --disable-fuzz-options --enable-lpsolve

--disable-compiler-plugins --disable-lto --enable-python=system

3. Run make. Build error!

Actual Results:

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 138299] New: FILEOPEN Using Compiz when opening a file with LO, randomly the screen remains transparent and does not display the file

2020-11-17 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138299

Bug ID: 138299
Summary: FILEOPEN Using Compiz when opening a file with LO,
randomly the screen remains transparent and does not
display the file
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.0.2.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: luca@gmail.com

Description:
I have to report the problem described in summary line, with every version of
LO I installed from 6.1 to 7, on every version of Ubuntu from 18.04 up to
20.10. Using Compiz, LO randomly doesn't show the file that it's opening (Calc,
Draw and Writer). It is quite a problem, the only workaround is to open the
file from the main LO window.
In the LO forum I found another with the same problem
https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/246935/when-opening-a-file-the-screen-remains-transparent-and-does-not-display-the-file/#277348

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install and setup Compiz as window compositor
2.try to open different CALC, WRITER or DRAW files
3.Randomly they will not be showed in the window, its very hard to understand
why one works and the other no, but for example every CSV file will produce the
error.

Actual Results:
Sometimes the window remain transparent, you can see the frame but not the file
you are opening.

Expected Results:
I expect to see the file I opened inside the window.

Reproducible: Sometimes

User Profile Reset: No

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
I'm sure that the problem resides in Compiz because if I switch off Compiz the
file that was not opening can be opened fine.

If needed I offer myself as tester, please let me know how I can provide you
more technical info or debug data.

Description:
When you copy (or cut) a cell in Calc, the "ant" dashed line comes up but it
appears like nothing is actually copied as you can't paste. If you copy a
second time, the copy/paste works.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Calc
2. Type "Test" in cell A1
3. Copy with Ctrl + C
4. Go to A2
5. Try to paste

Actual Results:
After copy you see the dashed ant line, but pasting does nothing. I attempted
to paste into different application (Opera browser) and it didn't paste, assume
the clipboard is empty despite the ctrl + c & ant dashed line

Expected Results:
Copy paste should work. I marked as minor because there's a "workaround" but
it's pretty annoying. I believe this should be "minor - highest"

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 138296] New: A few items must be taking into consideration

2020-11-17 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138296

Bug ID: 138296
Summary: A few items must be taking into consideration
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha1+
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: LibreOffice
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: mx_...@hotmail.com

Description:
Hello,

We all know that LibreOffice is a very impressive Suite, but why do more than
60 million people around the world use Microsoft Office While LibreOffice is
excellent and free?

It seems that our way of showing the product to home users and our marketing of
the product is not good.
Therefore, I would like to put some recommendations that I consider very
necessary to support the program and increase the number of its users.

1 / We should change the design of the LibreOffice website, which is primitive,
difficult, and old.
We must make the website design more modern, beautiful, and easy.
It seems that there is no interest in the user interface and user experience on
the website, which in turn is the official portal for LibreOffice.
If users visiting the website find that it is primitive, they will think that
the entire project is primitive and ugly in appearance, and so on. This will
keep them away from downloading the program and using it, and this thing
happened to me personally for several years and for many, many, and many people
that I discuss these matters with.

2 / The download links for previous versions of LibreOffice should be canceled
or removed from the download page.
The goal is for all home users to focus on the latest version. As for the
developers, they know what to do.

3 / The target market should be home users, not the developers.
I still feel that all free and open-source software such as LibreOffice are
aimed at developers, not ordinary users, and this is not good and implies an
unpleasant and detrimental response to users.
Imagine that just implying caused us many great damages.
I am 100% sure that the developers of open-source software are better than
others, but I am also sure that there is no guidance for them from a specialist
in the features that should be provided depending on the market requirements,
for example.
They only need a DIRECTOR and GUIDE.

4 / All settings must be adjusted so that they are in the best shape and ready
for use, and the user should not search for a solution to change an order or to
change the way the toolbars and the horizontal and vertical ruler are
displayed.
I cannot understand why I see the horizontal ruler activated by default and the
vertical ruler not activated and I have to search for it to activate it?
And measured on that many important inactive options.

5 / User Interface.
There are more than 60 million users of the Microsoft Office suite and they are
very happy with the ease of use and the very beautiful and easy user interface.
And when they see LibreOffice with a very old user interface that resembles
Microsoft Office 2003, they run away quickly.
Do we blame them?
The Tabbed user interface should be developed to become more modern and
activated immediately after installation, while still giving a hint to the user
how to change it.
I promise you, most users will not change it. (promise you).

6 / Make the program more intuitive and follow the user experience principles.
Because I see all the options and views of dialogs are still outdated and out
of date with modernity in program design.

7 / I still see that there is a tendency to provide books on LibreOffice
explanations.
We must stop that.
We must stop that.
We must stop that.
We must stop that.
Please we must stop that.

There are hundreds of explanations of Microsoft Office programs on YouTube and
because of that everyone knows how to use MS Office Suite. On the other hand,
no one knows how to use LibreOffice programs elaborately and no one made the
most of LibreOffice yet.
Do you want home users to read the 500-page LibreOffice Calc or Writer books so
they know how to use them?

This method cannot work.
We are in an era of speed.
As a user, I want to have a way that enables me to do something in the fastest
time!
What is the fastest way? reading more than 3000 pages or watch 10 YouTube
videos in which the speaker is a native English speaker so that everyone can
understand him/her around the world?
Please answer, which one is better and more efficient?

I have many ideas that I would like to put forward.
If this message receives acceptance and interaction, I will be happy and will
continue.

SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen libreoffice

I got to that point because my calc is very very slow even with empty files and
I was trying to diagnose the problem. After reading some post in the web I
tried that way of starting LO (SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen libreoffice) and I see
that when I select a whole column Calc shows "loading document" in the status
bar, most of the times TWICE (for each time I select the whole column). And the
document loading is quite slow, so this makes using calc very very slow.

Libreoffice starts very fast, that is not the problem. The slowness starts when
using Calc (and at some extent, Writer, but I don't really use the other
components of LO so as to say if they're affected as well).

All other (non-LO) applications work very well in my PC. I am using a
light-weight GU/Linux distribution (Lubuntu 20.04) running on a SSD drive and
8BG of RAM, and it works quite fast in general.

If I start LO Calc in the "normal" way, I experience the slowness in
responsiveness but I do not see the "loading document" in the status bar. When
I start LO Calc from terminal using the above command, I experience exactly the
same waiting times but I do see the "loading document" in the status bar.

What is this "loading document"?
Why does it happen two consecutive times most of the time?
Why does it happen when I select a whole column and not for other events?
Would it be possible that it is slowing down my calc installation?
Would it be possible to disable it? It seems that if I avoid that "loading
document" the operation would be much faster.

Steps to Reproduce:
Linux
1. open console (aka "terminal")
2. type SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen libreoffice
3. On the menu in the left, select "Create"... a new Calc spreadsheet.
4. Now you have an empty, new Calc file.
5. Select any column (whole column, this is click on the letter to select the
whole column and not a particular range of it)

Actual Results:
a- On the bottom left part of the Calc screen, I see "Document loading" for a
bit (with a progress bar growing to the right).
b- Then it ends, and automatically starts again.
c- Then it ends and you can continue working.

Most of the times the sequence is like that above. But some times it just shows
"document loading" once.

Expected Results:
Since I have no idea what is "loading document" and I don't really know what to
expect from starting LO with that command, I can't say what is the expected
result.
But of course one would expect that this behavior is a bit awkward at least.

In previous version (maybe before 7.X?) I never had any trouble. Whole-column
selection was as fast as any other command and even with large files (eg 4000
rows) I had only slight lag response.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Version: 7.0.3.1
Build ID: 00(Build:1)
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: x11
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Ubuntu package version: 1:7.0.3-0ubuntu0.20.04.1
Calc: threaded

Additional information: this is not the default installation which comes with
Lubuntu. I had to change it because it has a bug or something that produces
empty PDFs. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled from LO PPA. Also I tried
installing using SNAP and appimage and the problem persists.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 138122] LibreOffice font blurry on MacBook Pro's Internal HiDPI Retina Display running macOS Big Sur 11.0.1

2020-11-17 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138122

> Where can I find that patch?

The patch in question is this change that was made to the LibreOffice source
coce in February:
https://git.libreoffice.org/core/+/ec9f0161d9b5a57d4b8e3e17150fabcc6e4c67a1%5E%21

The relevant part is the change to desktop/Executable_soffice_bin.mk that
causes some more flags to be used when linking the soffice executable (which is
the actual executable of the LibreOffice app bundle):

> -Xlinker -platform_version -Xlinker macos -Xlinker
> $(MAC_OS_X_VERSION_MIN_REQUIRED_DOTS) -Xlinker 0.0.0

which in practice, if you use the default minimum required macOS version of
10.10, expands to:

> -Xlinker -platform_version -Xlinker macos -Xlinker 10.10 -Xlinker 0.0.0

which means that the actual extra flags passed to ld are:

> -platform_version macos 10.10 0.0.0

See the ld(1) man page for what that means.

To see this in practice, in an already-built LibreOffice tree, do:

> rm instdir/LibreOfficeDev.app/Contents/MacOS/soffice
> make verbose=t desktop

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124905] iPad OS 13: iPad Hardware-Keyboard in iOS App

--- Comment #6 from documentfoundation@guelke.de ---
Hi I just joined to Bugzilla because of the limited external keyboard support
inside the iOS Collabora App version 4.2.11-1 running under iOS 14.2 on iPad
Pro 12.9“ 2020 using the Apple Smartfolio Keyboard in german layout.

Inside my environment it is still impossible to
- Positioning the cursor using the arrow-keys
- Marking of text using shift + arrow-keyes
- Textformating Bold using cmd + b
- Textformating Italic using cmd + i
- Textformating Underline using cmd + u

Discussed but working keyboard commands are
+ tab = insert tab characters
+ cmd + c = copy
+ cmd + x = cut
+ cmd + v = paste
+ cmd + z = Undo

It would be great there is stil work on this case and there will be a fix in
the future. The usage of the App is quite limited on an iPad without external
keyboard support.

Solver Dialog with "Reset All" Button

I submitted a patch to Gerrit that implements a "Reset All" button in the Calc
Solver dialog. It is now awaiting review.

https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/106030

I also uploaded an image showing the new version of the Solver Dialog, with the
new button at the bottom.

The idea is to implement a functionality that is also available in Excel Solver
(which is also called "Reset All") with which the user can quickly reset all
solver parameters and start from scratch.

Writer document with two tables with a forumla i them.

Steps to reproduce.

1) Create a writer document with a table include a forumla. (for instance the
one attached)

2) save and reopen and confirm the forumla still shows the correct result.

3) Duplicate the table so you have two tables, one above the other, both
containing a working formula.

4) Save and reopen - The formula in the first table will still be working find,
but the identical formula in the second table will have been currpted. Normally
displaying as '** Expression is faulty **', If you inspect the formula you will
see all the cell reference are brocken:

Working formula: '= ***'
Corrupted Formula: '=L ? G * L ? G * L ? G * L ? G '

I'm not really sure to understand.
The palettes we dispose on starmath are HTML ( made from MDN documentation ),
even if not visible on UI, and dvipsnames is on work ( color dvip colorname,
follow overleaf documentation ).
On core/starmath/starmathdatabase there are also functions that allow to
identify a color name.
That bug seems to be closed. And the colors definitions match the documentation
ones.
It is possible to add X11 colors. Something like color x colorname or even
colorx colorname. Have to check if there's a list somewhere or if I have to
define them _SM_. And also other palettes can be added.
I added as naturals the HTML colors because the previous colors where already
following the HTML standard and not X11. Changing they're definitions to match
X11 would break old documents.
For now the color picker can only have the HTML palette. But I can keep adding
colors as long as there is someone willing to do the UI work. If interested I
can explain you how does work starmath color identifier to pass them.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 138293] New: Add "save sketches on slides on exit" option to Slide Show Settings dialog

2020-11-17 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138293

Bug ID: 138293
Summary: Add "save sketches on slides on exit" option to Slide
Show Settings dialog
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.0.2.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: Impress
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: maris.nart...@gmail.com

In presentation mode mouse cursor can act as a pen. Depending on presenter
style, user might want to keep markings on exit or to remove them. At the
moment actual behaviour of pen depends on a way how it was activated and not on
a explicit setting (activated via Slide Show settings or via right click on
slide). This is confusing as one has to remember to activate pen in a correct
way for his preferred approach to work.

Please make this bad design to go away – just provide a separate option to
keep/ignore drawings on slides at the exit from presentation.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 138046] Formating percentages varies when leading zero is applied to single integer value

(In reply to Ming Hua from comment #11)

> What do you mean by "the issue of the losing space in leading zeros"?

Colin send in comment 9 that, there is still the problem when he set leading
zeros. If he set it, then there is number and sign of percent with no space
betweeen. In his comment No. 9 is:

"... percentage cell with only one integer digit and a space is amended to
produce 2 leading zeros and then re-amended back to the original 1 leading zero
then the format without a space ..."

But it happens only in the version 6.4.6.2. In current version don't.

>
> I just re-checked with 7.1.0 alpha1+, the two values 01.75% (in cell E12)
> and 1.75% (E13) are still missing a space between digits and percent sign.
>
> I don't think this problem has anything to do with LO versions, but some
> specific combination of locale/language settings when user is changing the
> format of the numbers.

You must first delete the wrong formatting without the space (ctrl+1 > numbers
> category-percent). After you delete it then change leading zeros. There is
stil space, in v7.0.3. But if you do same in version 6.4.6.2 then there start
to be the nospace problem. This is how I understood what colin still has wrong.

Cells, where is existing a percent number, there will be no space between
number and '%', because this is so in the formatting. It is not so, you open
the document in new version and then you will see space between number and '%'
in the cells E12, E13.

When Colin can't check it because he has only old version please check it on
your computer, Ming Hua.
