MD: USB Cables???
Hello all, Late last year I bought a Sony R37SP on sale for a good price, and it only came with earphones and nothing else. I was at Target the other day and saw that exact same MD recorder on sale for a much higher price, with one exception. The sign said that it came with a USB cable that allowed you to digitally record MP3 files to MD. My question is what in the world are they referring to, and where can I just get the cable sinc eI already have that recorder? - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
MD: ATRAC Version?
I got a Sony MZ-R37SP portable MD recorder for christmas and I am very happy with it. I was wondering, does anybody know what revision of ATRAC compression it uses? - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
MD: MD EZ-33 batteries
Hello, I own a Sony MD EZ-33 MD Walkman which came with my MDS-JE330 recording deck. I have purchased a 3volt AC adapter from radio shack and am wondering about rechargeable batteries. Do I need to get the Sony R-6 rechargeable or the chewing gum style battery or will an ordinary AA rechargeable work and be able to charge up with the ac adapter? Thanks... - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I am a new owner of a Sony MD JE-330 deck and I am wondering, what kind of maintenance should I be doing to keep it working properly? - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
RE: MD: The "proper" use for MIni Discs
I think also MiniDiscs are a good alternative to taping concerts off FM radio stations, which I do quite often (our local country station airs a lot of concerts and such late at night) using analog tapes. While they obviously don't have the fidelity that a DAT deck would have they still sound many times better than an analog cassette deck would sound recording the same broadcast. It's a lot less hassle to transfer a MiniDisc recording to CDR because there aren't problems with "tape hiss" that have to be dealt with, so it is much hassle to edit and so forth. In truth we could go on all day long talking about different uses of MiniDiscs, that's why they are a great thing: because there are literally DOZENS of different applications that you can use them for! -Original Message- From: J. MD has more uses than just copying CDs. - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
MD: Sony MZ-E33 Batteries?
I have a question for you all. I purchased the new Sony MD Bundle they have out now that comes with the JE-330 deck as well as the MZ-E33 MD walkman. I use the walkman an awful lot because it's little enough to fit in my pocket easily, and consequently I go through a lot of AA batteries. I have heard that Sony sells special NiMh batteries for their walkmans and AC adapters that simply allow you to recharge them..is this true? If so where could I purchase a rechargeable battery and adapter so I can quit running up my bill at Wal-Mart buying AA batteries? :) - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
MD: ATRAC-R
I have recently learned that I own a MiniDisc deck (Sony JE-330) that uses the newest ATRAC-R compression scheme. I have heard that this new form of compression creates a recording that is etiher equivalent to or even BETTER than DAT.is there any truth in this? - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
