MD: Second attempt.

I havn't recieved any responces so I figured i'd give it a second run, does
anyone know the default settings for the MZ-R50 test mode?..Sony wants to
charge me 80$ to redo the settings when I can do them myself for free (I
just don't have any documented settings) I checked minidisc.org and the
webmaster told me to give this a shot, I have searched the net and have
found nothing there as well...surely someone out there with a MZ-R50 could

MD: MZ-R50 Test mode

Hello MD enthusiasts, I was wondering if anyone has documented the default
bios settings for the MZ-R50 or if someone could take the time to check them
for me...My little cousin was playing with my minidisc player and I think I
had left it in test mode the night before (I have to put it in test mode to
fix a LCD problem, my screen is blank after 3 days unless I go into test
mode and turn it off again) anyhow, I turned it on and the laser was
clicking beyond the   minidiscs specsI took it to sony and they told me
it was gonna cost me 80$ for them to retune the bios using the controls...so
if anyone out there can save me 80$, i'd appreciate it greatfully!
