I might have changed some numbers/specs. does anyone know what the problem is and how to solve it? also if changing any of the values may have damaged the unit does anyone know how to restore it back to the way it should be thank you very much for any help. MD: Please help--MZR90 problem
For some reason, my MZ-R90 doesn't wanna record anymore. I suppose it has something to do with the recording laser? well, wheni try to record, the recording level meter indicates the sound is going in ok and I can hear through the headphones while it's recording but when I try to play it back right after i record it, i get nothing but silence except for a few clicks here and there. If i pop the disk out and then back in, it views the disk as blank. If put a disk with some music already on it, and put like track mark in, it'll, say it's editing the TOC but when i pop it out and back in after it's done, it says the disk is blank again. Is the recorder having trouble writing the TOC or something? or is it having trouble writing at all? what should I do? thanks in advance. MD: Please Help! test mode on R50
I've got an MZ-R50,which i commonly use to get into "parameter" service mode in order to bypass the SCMS. This unit has firmware version 1.3. Unfortunately, yesterday, i forgot to exit the "parameter" service mode before using the original remote. I did not realise that i was still in service mode until i've pushed and twisted the remote, thinking it was broken. By the time i did realise and reset the unit, the following changes to the operation of the remote happened: decrease volume-stop increase volume-decrease volume playmode-decrease volume display-increase volume Could somebody please, please help me out with this? Would buying the service manual be able to help me sort out this problem? Has anyone experienced this before? I did not go into the real service mode as i am afraid it would only make things worse. All other operations of the buttons on the unit and remote works fine. MD: PLEASE HELP re: NH-14WM batt.
I was wondering what I need to worry about for the NH-14WM battery that comes with the sony mzr-90? do i need to fully discharge the battery before i charge it or is better to "top it off" each time? will i ruin the battery if overcharge slightly? Basically, i would like to know of any ways to extend my battery life. thanks in advance Matt - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
