Innobase Oy declares MySQL/InnoDB-4.1 stable
Innobase Oy has decided to declare MySQL/InnoDB-4.1 stable and recommended for all production use, starting from version 4.1.10. MySQL/InnoDB-4.1 has been out for almost two years now, there have been millions of downloads of the software, and it is already in extensive production use at many MySQL sites. That gives us the confidence to recommend it for all production use from now on. The first alpha version of 4.1 was released on April 3, 2003, and the product entered the beta phase on June 28, 2004. The last known serious problem in MySQL/InnoDB-4.1 was the bug http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=7496 in the my.cnf option innodb_file_per_table.
