Perhaps you're looking for the gamma adjustments that are documented in the man pages of XF86Config (around line 760 or so). You can adjust overall gamma, or -- for your color tweaking -- adjust red, green, and blue gamma separately. I'm wrestling with these settings myself, although I should admit that I haven't gotten it to work yet. Has anyone been able to set these gamma values? Any tips? That's good--it's helped me fix an off-center image. But what I'm really after is something to tweak the color.
