Re: [newbie] Calibrating monitor image

Perhaps you're looking for the gamma adjustments that are documented in
the man pages of XF86Config (around line 760 or so). You can adjust
overall gamma, or -- for your color tweaking -- adjust red, green, and
blue gamma separately. I'm wrestling with these settings myself,
although I should admit that I haven't gotten it to work yet. Has anyone
been able to set these gamma values? Any tips?

That's good--it's helped me fix an off-center image. But
what I'm really after is something to tweak the color.

Thanks,

/usr/X11R6/bin/xvidtune as root might be what you are looking for.

[newbie] Calibrating monitor image

2001-11-12 Thread Miark

Hi all,

Is there a way to tune monitor output in X Window/KDE?
Something like Adobe's Gamma Loader in Winsux.
