There seems to be a few more modules and more database support, but I hven't
explored them much yet (more pressing problems ;) ). As far as stability
goes, I haven't seen much difference - what problems I had in OOo were also
present in SO6. However, I have to say that the problems I experienced in
SO6 seem to have disappeared since I installed the patch on Sun's site.
Maybe there's a similar one on OOo's site? I haven't looked yet.

Sorry I can't help more at this stage. BTW, what instabilities are you
finding?

Anne,

Thank you for your reply. I needed a separate fax number for incoming
faxes. I thought only Demon.net did that, I have not considered Tiscali.
I will. At the moment I am using fido.net with their pdf file format and
this is working very well. I shall bear Tiscali in mind.

While writing to you do you think Star Office 6.0 has any advantage over
OO? I would like a little more stability.

With thanks.

Malcolm Candlish.

Malcolm,

It might be a bit big for your needs, but Hylafax does just that, as
long as it is coming in on your box.

Tony.

Has anyone any ideas on fax to email in the UK. I currently use
'Trinite' to receive faxes via a separate fax number to my email box.

Unfortunately I usually receive only the first page and I am told by
Trinite that I need to use 'Windows Imaging' or 'Irfan View'.

Are there any Linux fax to email box services?
