There's QCad, http://www.ribbonsoft.com/qcad.html
Never used it beyond starting it up in knoppix just to see what it does.
Seconded - very good intuitive 2D package which I would liken to 
AutoSketch. Comes with all the dxf exporters etc.

ProgeSOFT

For the time being, both depend on wine.

I think ProEngineer has a Linux version.

Also possible: QCad, VariCAD
