Then try mounting /dev/hda#  where # is the number that home was on

I could have been more clear.
Both are installed but at the moment I cannot boot 9.1 (I'm going to work on that...) but in the meantime, I want to 
gain access to my /home partition on the hda disk (9.1)  while in 9.0 (on the hdd disk)
