To make sure then in /etc/postfix/main.cf set your trusted subnets mynetworks = 192.168.1.0/24, 127.0.0.0/8 derek -- -- www.jennings.homelinux.net Want to buy your Pack or Services from MandrakeSoft? [newbie] securing postfix
I'm using postfix to relay mail to my cable host. Right now, security isn't a problem since I'm behind a firewall. However, that may change soon, with this box being the Firewall, and I'm worried I'll have an open relay. What is the procedure for securing Postfix so only the LAN (eth1) can send mail? Thanks in advance, bryce Want to buy your Pack or Services from MandrakeSoft? Go to http://www.mandrakestore.com
