The solution in the latter case is to look at /etc/modules.conf and to change the line alias usb-interface usb-uhci to alias usb-interface uhci If you have one of the boards that takes the uhci driver. But without information on your mainboard that could be very bad advice, because your mainboard may be set up for usb-ohci, for example. Hi, I have Linux Mandrake 8.1 installed on my system. Whenever I try to shut it down, the system hangs with the message : "Shutting down interface eth0 " Can anyone please tell me what I can do to rectify this problem.
