[orkut-developer] Re: News about Activity Stream!
What FB does is much more sophisticated than that, i.e. they can group activities from several apps for the same user if commited during a short period of time. If then there is half hour delay between new activities - those go ungroupped (or groupped in a new group). Also: it will be unfair to give all apps the same amount of 1 activity visible. Let's take a big app with lots of content where users spend 1-2 hours playing every day and making many different activities, and some small app where users spend 1 minute of their time. If both have the same 1 activity visible I think that would be incorrect. On Feb 3, 6:22 am, "Mr . Re: [orkut-developer] Re: I am not whitelisted to access the sandbox? I already filled the registration form
Hi Bruno: I still haven't accessed to sandbox. The trouble yet exists. I filled the form at http://sandbox.orkut.com/SandboxSignup.aspx 15 times and it always redirects me to Orkut Home Page, not to the Sandbox. It is a bug with the account? With the Sandbox? How I get access to Sandbox, to develop an application? What's wrong? I don't understand it. Is the documentation obsolete? The registration is not at http://sandbox.orkut.com/SandboxSignup.aspx? Where must I register my developer account to access the Sandbox? In another URL? If I register my account or special access to Sandbox, what's the next step? A redirection? Certainly, I always am redirected to Orkut Home Page. It's the same case that if I enter directly to http://sandbox.orkut.com or http://www.sandbox.orkut.com. Then, Orkut doesn't recognize me like developer. I still being a "normal user", without privileges to access the Sandbox. What do I need to be considered "developer" for Orkut? [orkut-developer] Re: News about Activity Stream!
Sorry, my explanation was a little short. The idea is that when you have several activities of the same type, they will appear collapsed in a single activity slot on the user's stream, with a button to expand/collapse. Rather than seeing a ton of similar activities, you'd see only the first activity and then a link saying "12 similar activities from ___". Upon clicking that link, you'd see the rest of the activities from that user. This allows us to present more activities while preserving space on the interface... Not everyone has this change active yet, as it's slowly rolling out to our user base. [orkut-developer] Solved: Known Issue #K07: requestSendMessage sends e-mail with broken links/HTML
Hi everyone, Just to let you know, we've solved Known Issue #K07 - requestSendMessage sends e-mail with broken links/HTML. Now it's sending links that work. That's our favorite type of link. Thanks to everyone who reported this bug and thanks for everyone's patience while we worked on this bug! *Issue was:* When sending a message via opensocial.requestSendMessage(), the e-mail arrives to the recipient with broken links. You have faced an api quota limit, just pay attention to your error message: SERVER_ERROR;RPC is not authorized or exceeds rate limit allowed by ACL Got this message sometime ago when creating an app to a customer, but nobody from Google explained the limits :-) Robson Dantas 2011/1/25 soori > i developed a web app using orkut os client java.every thing is fine. > From yesterday onward iam getting null pointer exception , After > authentication iam getting profile of the logged in person. ie > OrkutPerson person = profile.getProfile(); > I am getting orkut person as null. > Fram yesterday only it is getting null, Is there any limited requests > per user , > Some times while posting scrap iam getting this error :- > > error 500 (errorTypeNotPresent) internalError: SERVER_ERROR;RPC is not > authorized or exceeds rate limit allowed by > > ACL;StartTimeMs=1295953718205;ServerTimeSec=3.504753112792969E-5;TCP;Deadline=5.5;CliLog=256;SrvLog=256;ReqSecLevel=none;RespFormat=UNCOMPRESSED;/ > > PhoenixStorageServer.GetLink;LastReqID=4d25656e56d34e0a;LastGlobalID=0;Server= > 10.147.68.8:8117 > > Please let me know about this errors. > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "orkut Developer Forum" group. > To post to this group, send email to opensocial-orkut@googlegroups.com. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > opensocial-orkut+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com > . > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/opensocial-orkut?hl=en. > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "orkut Developer Forum" group. Re: [orkut-developer] A Copy App of Mine
It's really strange, because moisegames would have to have access to your server in order to insert the required author authentication code inside the XML while submitting the "new" copy of the app, since it's using your server, as you said.
