Hola Bruno: en esta ocasión, preferiré escribir en castellano, ya que de ese modo, podré exponer de mejor modo la situación que se me presenta, pues seguramente me entenderán. Hasta hace unos días, cualquier intento de acceso al Sandbox, reportaba el error "Bad, bad server...", pero ahora eso ya no ocurre. En su lugar, cuando me registro en la "lista blanca" ( http://sandbox.orkut.com/SandboxSignup.aspx), se me redirige a http://sandbox.orkut.com/Main#Home, sección que luce exactamente igual que la Home de Orkut en castellano. ¿Es correcto que sea así? Mi objetivo, es el de desarrollar una aplicación, para lo cual necesito montar el clásico esquema DEV - QA - Producción. Ciertamente, la documentación dice que el Sandbox es un "área de prueba", lo cual daría a entender que se contaría con la posibilidad de montar un entorno de desarrollo o de QA. ¿Dispongo de alguna característica del Sandbox, que permita hacer esto? Por lo que veo en la documentación ( http://code.google.com/intl/es-419/apis/orkut/docs/orkutdevguide.html#term-profileview), lo único que se podría hacer es "añadir la aplicación" y concederle privilegios mínimos. Si esto es así y teniendo en cuenta la necesidad de plantear un entorno de desarrollo y otro de QA, necesitaría que sólo yo pueda usarla, evitando que otros usuarios accedan a ella. ¿Existe alguna manera de hacer esto? Por otra parte, la documentación describe las secciones "Notifications" y "MyUpdates" del Sandbox y otros usuarios han mencionado la existencia del subdominio "prod.sandbox.com", por lo que parece haber múltiples características. ¿Existe algún link que me conduzca a alguna documentación amplia y exhaustiva sobre el Sandbox? En resumen: 1) Está claro que el error "Bad, bad server..." ha desaparecido. 2) Necesito saber si el diseño del Sandbox es igual al de la Home de Orkut, para determinar si lo que obtengo y veo es lo que corresponde, o no. 3) Asimismo, es necesario saber si lo único que puede hacerse en el Sandbox, es "añadir una aplicación" (en cuyo caso, quisiera saber cuáles son las restricciones de acceso que puedo imponer) o si existen más características. Si éste último caso es el correcto, les solicito me hagan llegar algún link de acceso o de descarga de documentación más detallada sobre el uso del Sandbox. To be honest, things are a bit messy because AppReviewer is offline, we're running it manually every week or so with human supervision. However, no application should have to wait THAT long. In fact, every pending application should be reviewed when we run it at the end of every week, so in theory, no app should have to wait more than a week to get a review. Could you send the appID's for the apps that have been waiting since NOV/2010? Use "reply to author" and send them to me in private if you don't want to expose your appID's on the forum. That's strange, I just tested it now and it worked -- it redirected me to sandbox (and I used a brand-new account). Can you try using another account? [orkut-developer] [KNOWN ISSUE #K09]: Developer page not working on prod sandbox
*Issue:* The developer page on prod sandbox ( http://prod.sandbox.orkut.com/Main#Developer) is giving a 404 error. It should not. *Workaround:* Use regular sandbox (http://sandbox.orkut.com/Main#Developer). *So why is this an issue?* Because prod sandbox is supposed to be a more stable version of sandbox with a more production-like environment. Roberto, Content-type="url" was disabled on Orkut due security issue. Switch to html. Also good to note that it will not work on profile view. You need to use data pipelining and templates to make it running.
