Description: BI Development in BO. Universe and cube development as well as report development Qualifications: Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Business Intelligence developer using Business Objects (Desktop Intelligence, Web Intelligence, Business Objects Designer) Working knowledge of Business Objects Administration and security setup is preferred Expert proficiency in SQL (write complex queries using co-related sub-queries and sub-queries), Working knowledge of MDX is preferred Working knowledge of databases ( DB2 and Sql Server) Proficient with Data Warehouse Architecture such as Star and Snowflake Schema Strong understanding of ETL concepts and Data Warehousing best practices. Experienced in relational data modeling concepts (understands normalized vs. denormalized table structures) Working knowledge of Sql Server Analysis and Sql Server Reporting Services is preferred Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a dynamic fast paced environment. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues while under pressure.
