The problem for me was the the type selection (as noted below) and the cert file NEEDS a carriage return at the end of it. If you are getting the Cert from Thawt make sure that you are selecting the "Test SSL Chained Cert" If you are selecting the 128 it wont work I just tried it. I am not sure because I tried it long time ago, but in my case this was caused by copy-paste operation on cert in my Explorer5 window. When I changed encoding in my Explorer5 settings it was O.K.
