Hello. Try to get one of these iriver players. The h140 that I use, is rockbox compatible, has line in and line out, optical in and out and has about 15 hours of battery life. There is also the h340 which has also video support. They have a 40 gb hard drive, fm radio and other good staff. There are audio reviews out there.
