Re: 200/f2.5 comes through with flying colours
Yes Jose with a max ap of 2.5, if you're shooting wide open your depth of field is quite small. I used a monopod and shot wide open at 250 sec. I was shooting precision skating so they were certainly moving at a good clip for most of the program. The 250th was sufficient speed to stop them most of the time... Vic

RE: 200/f2.5 comes through with flying colours
Vic, I used my K200/2.5 a couple of months ago taking photos of my kids playing in the backyard (hand held in the late afternoon). You do have to be careful focusing. If you are careful, this lens produces fantastic images; very sharp, great color rendition and the bokeh is very pleasing. Regards, Jose R. Incredibly good result when I managed to get them in focus, which was most of the time. Once again verified to me just how good the lens is. I had to shoot at 250 sec wide open. Excellent results. If you ever see this lens-- grab it... Vic
Re: 200/f2.5 comes through with flying colours
Vic, Yes, the results of bumping the Fuji 800 to 1600 were excellent. It makes shooting motion in lower light that much easier. In processing the results, I've followed the advice I learned here (from Bill Robb, I think). I just have the film processed normally. The printing machine sorts out the 1 stop underexposure just fine. Regards, Bob S. [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: > Bob I was considering bumping to 1600. Re: 200/f2.5 comes through with flying colours
Vic, Similar story here... Shot my daughter's gymnastics meet Friday with the LX, winder, K200/2.5 and a monopod. I shot the Fuji 800 at 1600 and let the machine prints compensate. Nice lens, nice results! Regards, Bob S. [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: > Over the weekend I shot my daughter's Synchro skating team in an arena with > 800 Fuji film, LX winder and that lovely 200/f2.5.
