I'll see if I can find something like what you're talking about. I was more interested in a rather "full" flower photo in this case. From: Cotty <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Interesting! The fishy barrel distortion is fairly mild on the L1, given its 13.5x18 mm sensor format, but quite visible for any photo with some straight lines in it. It's a little more pronounced on the K10D at 16x24 mm format. From: Boris Liberman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Nah, the grainy film, such as TMAX 3200 would've yielded more > pleasantly looking (huge) grain... LOL ... I toned down the grain quite a bit. If you'd like more, that's easy to do. ]'-) Godfrey -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net

Well, the effect is what you were looking for. I also like that you are showing some new things to us. In this case, for me, there just seems to be too much flower. Hope this makes sense. Because of the side flowers and the main having so many petals, the whole thing gets kind of lost. I'd like to see the effect on a simpler flower. -- Bruce Wednesday, September 19, 2007, 5:57:44 PM, you wrote: GD> Seems a week for different thoughts. PESO 2007 - 39c - GDG
Seems a week for different thoughts. Went out walking this morning while it was still quite dim and had the Panasonic L1 fitted with a Pentax K17/4 Fish-Eye lens (on the way to Cotty ... thanks for letting me shoot with it a little bit!). I thought I'd experiment with getting something soft and and texture-ish so I racked up the ISO to 800 and underexposed by a bit. Results here ... http://homepage.mac.com/ramarren/photo/PAW7/39c.htm Comments, critique, etc always appreciated. enjoy, Godfrey -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
