Kieth, I'll ty to test it at 35mm, which I haven't yet - just at 28mm-50mm-70mm. I use a Tokina ATX f2.8 35-70mm. It is sharp f5.6-f11. The ATX lens was tested by Modern Photography Sept 1985. The M 2.8/35mm (which was actually my first Pentax lens - my standard lens on the MX) is a very good performer, but it's not an outstanding or excellent lens compared to other Pentax lenses. But then again - I often compare sharpness, contrast etc. with that of the FA 1.4/50mm, which really IS an excellent lens. I believe the 2.0/35mm is too. Three days later I had it in my hand. Three days from NY to Denmark! And just 29 USD + shipping. Not bad, eh?. Great seller by the way, Harry Mayer, who also happens to be offering a Mint Pentax F 4-5.6/70-210mm... I'll be testing the lens shortly, against the AT-X 270AF Pro II and my Pentax F 35-80mm. I found the lens (with a Nikon AIS mount) at KEH, retail price; 89 USD: http://www.keh.com/shop/SHOWPRODUCT.CFM?CRID=9093902&SKID=NK000423105&SI D=newused&BID=NK&CID=09&SOID=N&curpic=0&dpsp=0. I justs won an auction for one - for 29 USD - with PKA-mount. That's OK but I don't want my daughter have it, if it's bad. I guess I'll have to run some tests when it gets here :-).
