Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: [Announce] MusicInfoSCR screensaver updated
No, currently not. Does your use of currently imply it might in future? :) I knew I should not have used it :-). But a simple "No" was too short. No, it's not possible. I only added the "currently" because slimserver is a very dynamic project - I can't tell where it will be in a year. -- Michael --- Help translate SlimServer by using the StringEditor Plugin (http://www.herger.net/slim/) ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: ANNOUNCE: Updated Lazy Search Music plugin (r39).
Thanks for the reply, "1. Set the iTunes rescan frequency to zero, and see if that makes any difference." It's set to 0, I always keep it there as the server trying to rescan when I use itunes drives me nuts. "could you zip up the log and email it to me" Yes. I'll give it another go and send you it over. "Can you confirm whether you're just doing a "clear library and rescan", or one of the other rescan types?" I've tried both the wipe/rescan and check for new music rescan, both are the same. I never use the check for new playlists rescan. "Finally, you're not pushing that "build lazy search index now" button" Didn't even know it was there. "Is anyone else seeing that?" Would be surprised if I'm the only one ;-). One other thing I have noticed. When I upgraded to 6.2.0 I had to 'fix' my compilation cd's, I just scanned through on itunes and set the compilation tag on the appropriate albums but there are some albums that still refuse to display as compilations. I don't know why and just gave up on them would this have any thing to do with it? -- Steven Moore Steven Moore's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=104 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=18154 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
RE: [SlimDevices: Plugins] SlimScrobbler Log?
LastFM appears a bit stuffed at the moment. I clocked up an extra 500 plays each of 3 tracks last night and there are many threads in their support forums with issues. The latest version of SlimScrobbler (0.34) will write debug output if d_plugins debugging is enabled. James NOTICE: If received in error, please destroy and notify sender. [SlimDevices: Plugins] SlimScrobbler Log?
Does SlimScrobbler maintain a log of what it is doing? LastFM has no record of any tracks played since yesterday and I'd like to know if it's my end or their's. Thanks. Steven Moore Wrote: > I seem to be having a bit of a problem with this plugin ... I wonder is > it getting into a loop and is anyone else seeing this? That is strange - I've never seen that or heard it reported from anyone else. I don't use iTunes myself, but I wouldn't think you're the only one that does. It does seem like the scans are fighting with each other, so that bug is probably not a SlimServer bug. A couple of things to try: 1. Set the iTunes rescan frequency to zero, and see if that makes any difference. 2. Clear the log, restart the server with "--d_plugins" and "--d_info", go through your steps. When you think it's looping could you zip up the log and email it to me? ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). I realise the log will be large, but it should get to my email OK if your end can handle it. From the log I should be able to see what's fighting with what. Can you confirm whether you're just doing a "clear library and rescan", or one of the other rescan types? Finally, you're not pushing that "build lazy search index now" button on the "Server Settings->Plugins" page are you? You should never need to do that. Is anyone else seeing that? Similarly, is anyone else using iTunes and NOT seeing that behaviour? -- hickinbottoms --- Stuart hickinbottoms's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=255 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=18154 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

I've actually managed to find a way to workaround this problem without the performance hit (although it still has to put the artists back before allowing the normal rescan, which is a shame). That will be in the next version. -- hickinbottoms --- Stuart hickinbottoms's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=255 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=18154 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
