First off I just want to say that iPeng is one of the best applications I have purchased ever. And I don't just mean iPhone applications either. I mean the whole kit-n-kaboodle. So, thanks for making it. I had noticed in your road map that you mentioned the possibility of better integrating the hibernate server feature from Server Power Control. Quite frankly, this is about the only additional feature I would desire. Maybe just the hibernate server function could me moved to the more page or better yet, add a power icon at the top of the player control list and use that to hibernate. Not sure where the particular [x] is that you are referring to. Once I rate the album the only [x] I have is by the current playing track or each individual track on the album. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Trackstat - Unrate Album
Sometimes in my infinite stupidity I accidentally give an album a rating I didn't intend to. The only way I have found to correct this is to unrate each track on the album. Is there an easier way to unrate or adjust the rating on an entire album? If not, may I suggest using the same method that is used to rate the album? Once an album is rated, just put the same rating buttons above the tracks and if I choose a different rating it would override the track ratings already established. I was having this issue as well & I think I may have solved the problem. Try the following & let me know if this works for you: Download & run Softsqueeze following the directions on this page: http://softsqueeze.sourceforge.net/download.html. You'll want to double-click on the Softsqueeze.jar file to load it. Make sure it's running & not playing any music before you try any of the following. Next, go to Squeezecenter Settings -> Players and select Softsqueeze as the player you want to work with. Next, select Basic Settings if it's not already selected. Scroll down & find the settings for Screensaver when playing, Screensaver when stopped & Screensaver when off. Change all these to SuperDateTime Screensaver. Go back to Softsqueeze & wait until the weather information displays on Softsqueeze. Bring SuperDateTime up on your duet controller & see if the information isn't there. Ordering by tracks.id doesn't work. I should have dug deeper. Thanks for the reply Erland. I figured out how to fix this myself by editing the default configuration and changing the SQL of all sections to order by tracks.id instead of rand(). [SlimDevices: Plugins] Custom Browse/Trackstat Ratings - Album Plays Random
I've installed Custom Browse & Trackstat (great plugins - thanks for the effort) and used the Fishbone skin in Squeezecenter 7 to rate one album. When I browse to Custom Browse / Ratings / 5 Stars / and click the play button next to the album I rated the tracks are added to the playlist in Random order. I do not have shuffle enabled. If I just browse to the artist and album & click the play button the tracks are added to the playlist in order. Is there some Custom Browse setting I am missing that is randomizing the tracks in the playlist? I also have the artist by letter menu enabled & that does not randomize the songs so I think there is something else going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is Superdatetime supposed to work with the Duet controller?
