Re: [QUAD-L] Question for the group
You'd be doing us real damage by lipping off. We'd likely get smacked by him next time he expects us to get out of his way. The HC stalls are as popular as HC parking spots. Cheaters don't care and calling them on it just pisses them off more. My wife even uses the HC spots - when people don't care, they REALLY don't care. (she also leaves her shoes in the bathroom every afternoon after she gets home. I've yelled and made a big deal but have switched to using the other bathroom. Some people just don't get it, and never will.) I just prop my leg up on the shortie urinal when that happens. No real big deal actually. Dave In a message dated 5/24/2006 8:09:42 P.M. [QUAD-L] 4x4 wheelchairs and indoor use
Hey, I dont have a 4x4 wheelchair but was an avid atv rider for years, anything with those aggressive, big tires is going to track mud, dirt and grass indoors. And for the carpet, well you might as well rip it out and put tile in, lol. If you had wide doors, tile, and a dual arm van lift, then it might be for you. Ron
[QUAD-L] Back Online
Hi Gang, My hard drive crashed May 12 and since I was looking at getting a laptop, I decided to wait until I bought my laptop before getting back on-line. Today my DELL arrived and I'm starting to reload my backup files onto this system. I hope everyone is well, and all of the Mom's had a special Mother's Day. I will be gone the first week in June so I will catch up on my mail ASAP. With Love, Dave Kelmer C4/5
[QUAD-L] About auto seatbelt on p-222
Hey, Someone asked about the auto style seatbelt I put on my Quickie P-222 power wheelchair. I just ordered it from a place called the Aftermarket Group. It looks similar to a lap seatbelt in a car. Cost 15.00, I keep a couple in stock at all times, lol. Ron c7 8.5years Everydays a Holiday
[QUAD-L] Hey Dan, Meds Question
Hi Dan, I was wondering how the lyrica is working for you? Also Ive been on 50 mg of Amytriptyline at night for close to two years and have noticed my guts some bigger. Have you experienced any weights issues with this medication.? Ron c7 8.5 years in quadadise
[QUAD-L] Sexual Dreams
Yup, have those, too! Sometimes I'm even getting lucky with some famous hunks. So far I've had Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Tim McGraw and I keep hoping for Antonio Banderas but he just won't show up! Mostly though, my dreams feature whoever I'm with or past loves and yes, they're so intense that I wake up feeling pretty happy. ;-) Steph c3 quad Transverse Myelitis (1986)

I don't think it means you're a homocidal maniac, as I'm sure you may think, just that you've found a different way to vent. I appreciate my angry dreams because I feel like they help release that negative energy in a safe manner. So, don't feel bad, okay? You're not alone in these experiences and not as violent as some either! For ex: in my dreams I've spilt open a roommate's head with a hatchet, I've beat up my ex, and had fights with faceless strangers, etc. It sounds awful, I know, but, honestly, outside of my dreams I'm really nice! :o) Steph c3 quad - Transverse Myelitis (1986)

Re: [QUAD-L] working from home
I know specifically about Northern Virginia Community College, http://www.nvcc.edu/, a large school with about 38,000 students enrolled. But ask at colleges in your area. Even though their human resources department may not advertise a job opening as for online instruction, ask. Many are eager to hire adjunct faculty to develop and teach new online courses. Sandy

[QUAD-L] anger manegment
These are times in my humble life when I wished that I had a better understanding on how the mind works with the sub conscious. Those with PHD or Doctor's are much better trained to answer and address questions like this. I realize that I could mislead you are possible cause greater confusion by leading you astray with speculation and .25 cents that wouldn't purchase a cup of coffee, these days. The smarter I get, the more I realize how complicated the brain, and mind is. Even those who are trained, continue to learn Perhaps, professional intervention with a group program will reveal those trapped secrets you desire. Or you can pay those people who profess in being mind readers $25 of your bucks to satisfy your curiousity. Then I sobed uncontrably and got myself together before Pete, my husband, got home. Because his Mom has been going through hospital, nursing home, hospital, back home, hospital and back again. She is 82 and is needing Pete, her son, more and more. Maybe I'm angry at her? Last night I murdered a woman, by beating her to death with my bear hands, who stole something from me. This is the second time I've killed someone in my dreams. The person before was Pete, I strangled him and then tossed him out of a second story window. This was years ago. Whats going on? Bobbie
