[RCSE] Alpha 4
I have decided to put my Alpha 4 charger up for sale as it is not getting used as much as it should be. I haven’t flown in more than a year. Current price is $259 when you can get them plus cables. $250 takes mine if you are interested. Gary & Wendy Baldwin Tallahassee, Florida
Re: [RCSE] hlg bagging question
Steve Meyer is correct, the groups he mentioned are much better for this type of question. Here is a link to the RCgroups HL forum: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=96 I'll do a quick answer here though. I bag HL wings as one piece from tip to tip, flat. They get cut in half in the center after bagging. They get packed in kits so a one piece wing would be very bad for shipping reasons. You could bag a wing with dihedral in one piece and it would save a small amount of work since you wouldn't have to join it later. I think the one piece wing would end up being more work in the long run though and would certainly be more difficult to do in terms of the skill level required. Phil - Original Message - From: "Douglas, Brent" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Just a quickie - say you're doing an aileron HLG wing, no dihedral (or minimal) Question is, do you bag it as one piece, or would you bag left and right halves to join later? Re: [RCSE] hlg bagging question
Drop over to the HLG (SAL) forum at Yahoo Groups. < http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SALglider/> Search the archives, this subject has been discussed already there. Experts like Phil Barnes and Dr Mark Drella hang there and share great wisdom. I could see arguments for both, but I'm just looking for the logic I'm overlooking. Thanks and Happy Holidays, Brent
