RE: [RCSE] something new

2005-10-21 Thread Tom Copp
I have the Spektrum module in my 9303 for ground use, Works great, a 9303
with all the mixers if you like stick radios for boats or cars this is the
way to go. They have a module for Airtronics as well. More of these are
showing up at the RC races and work awesome.
I "hear" they are working on a aircraft version so keep a ear out.

100 feet or so. It will be interesting when it is actually tested in the
field.

To be fair, the following comment from the manual should be noted:

   "Parkflyers Only:

The DX6 system is designed for parkflyer type aircraft
only. This includes all forms of compact electric and
non-powered airplanes as well as micro electric
helicopters. While the system has more than adequate range
for these types of aircraft, it is imperative that the
system not be used in larger aircraft that could exceed
   the range."

I was wondering about range also.
But the radio looks fantastic. And reasonably priced too!

And while there's little justification for an estabilished pilot with
multiple transmitters to buy one; if anyone does please give us a FULL
report
