I am not suggesting that you set up a new profile for permanent use at this point. I am only suggesting that you set up a new profile as a test. You don't need to set up mail/news at all. Just a new profile and do a quick copy paste in the browser to see if that works. That will tell us whether or not the problem is profile related or if it is the program on your system. Since it is working fine for me on both Mac OS X and Win XP, I don't know where to begin looking for the problem on your setup. If you choose not to do the troubleshooting step, well I guess I can't help you, much though I would like to. Good luck with it anyhow. I haven't changed anything yet but thought I'd ask about it to see if this could be my problem. Good thought, but mine is set to false as well, and copy/paste works as it always has for me. That's probably not the culprit. Try the test profile and see. If it does work, we can troubleshoot through your existing profile. If not, I'm not sure where we go, but there are a lot of hands here. Oh and I just tried something else, I just did a copy of the SeaMonkey 2.0 homepage address as well as some text from that page and tried pasting it into MS Wordpad and no luck, it still pastes what I copied from System Info over an hour ago in place of the fresh copy so the bug must be on the copy side of the programing. Well I just tried safe mode and still the same and I'm not going through the hassle of setting up another profile and have mail split between two profiles I'm on over a hundred Groups on Yahoo and pretty much have mail coming in 24/7 and besides why should I have to do these extra steps just to do this. However; I can if I work fast enough is select item; hold down option Key and Drag and Drop. Or Drag select and hit delete. Darn, its working with no issue here. By the way, the Windows/Linux equivalent is CTRL instead of Command. By the way, have you tried Safe Mode or a new profile? ONe of the nice new things is that you can open SM 2.0 in Safe Mode by holding down the Option key while clicking the Dock icon. No need for Terminal anymore.
