I don't know how good the support for touch screens in NVDA and Jaws is, but I think that Ai Squared are taking as long as they are because they don't want the users to end up with a rushed release with lots of bugs. I bet you 10 to 1 Ai Squared are working on that problem. There may be legal issues when it comes to supporting touch screens, that is to say, they may need to make sure they don't accidentally copy the code that another competitor is using. Also, many people may not want to use touch screens, and be happy with keyboards.
