Re: a problem with window-eyes
I usually get those beeps, if it's the ones I'm thinking of that sound almost like an old Atari 2600 ame, as I'm closing a web browsing session with Internet Exploder. The tones are then followed by the death of Window-Eyes and even NVDA can't read whateer messagecomes up. Te again Iam running version 8.4 on a rather slow Toshiba laptop running Windows Vista 32-bit. I've also ahd tis machhine going on seven years now so it's probably understandable that it'd be slow. Re: a problem with window-eyes
The only time I got three beeps, and they were definitely different tones from one another, is when I was having a problem with window eyes and my email. I would be in the middle of a message, and I would get these three tones, one a third octave a, another a fifty octave e, and the other one went by so fast I missed what it was. But after that, window eyes would die. But this was before window eyes nine. Re: a problem with window-eyes
I have noticed this from time to time. I have Window-Eyes set not to start before Windows. The last couple of time I got the beeps were when Window- Eyes tried to load before start-up, and the three beeps occurred after Window-Eyes tried to load. After hearing the Windows start-up sound, Window-Eyes loaded normally as expected. I will try to observe carefully what happens the next time I hear the three beeps. -Original Message- From: Nick Sarames via Talk Sent: Thursday, February 11, 2016 2:14 AM To: Tony C ; Window-Eyes Discussion List ; Casey Subject: Re: a problem with window-eyes I've noticed it as well, not all the time; it happens after the harp, as if WE is trying to tell me something.
