[TMIC] Re: Future Symposiums
Currently, there are no large symposia planned for the near future. The last one in 2008 was very energy, money and time draining, and so many of the TMA patients are unable to spend the money to attend, so the program is going to be re-vamped. There will most likely be smaller and more frequent symposia hosted in local metropolitan areas around the country. More news of this will be coming out within the upcoming year. [TMIC] Cody Unser
I tried to send a copy of a newspaper article about Cody Unser graduating from the U of Redlands. I don't think it went through. Here is a link to read the article. She is receiving her degree in biopolitics. For those of you who don't know, Cody came down with TM at 12 y/o. She has worked very hard to help make a difference for folks with TM. http://www.redlandsdailyfacts.com/news/ci_12375826 Cindy McLeroy

Re: [TMIC] Quality of Medical Care
Re: [TMIC] Quality of Medical CareDon't know where Jude lives, but would sending letters, calling, and emails to here senator do any good? This is an outrage that this is happening and happening probably to others too. THEY CHATTED BUT JUDE WAS FURIOUS. SHE TOLD ME THEY DID NOT CHECK HER SORES THEY DID NOTHING.IT IS SO PAINFUL FOR JUDE AND SHE HAS TO PAY NOW TO GO BY AMBULANCE TO GET TO A DOCTOR. This is awful and surprising. For some reason I thought she had paratransit. This is why I am starting a paratransit nonprofit. Ambulance is many orders of magnitude more expensive than anything.
