RE: [TMIC] Re: Getting a flu shot

My doc talked me into getting a pneumonia shot last time. He stated that it was
less risky than the flu shot?
What does that mean???
I just don't think they know

Dalton,
I hope this is a short-term problem for you and the pain subsides soon. Thanks
for the info and keep us informed. I was planning on getting one this year,
because I had no adverse reaction to the shot last year. It was my first shot
since TM. We had five deaths in our area last year and I turned chicken and
got the shot.

Thus, unless you expect to be circulating around many people, and many new

thought it prudent to get the flu shot. It may still be the right move, but at
this reckoning has come at a high cost, that of being in a distracting level of
pain all the time now, just as I was during the early days of the disease.

I have never had a reaction from the flu shot – although my doc told me to not
get one until the 3rd year of TM.Hope you get back to “normal” soon and
thanks for
reporting in about the shot.
