Peters patch set the Touch at 100% but the UI still thought it was adjusting the volume. We need that feature to control the device which our plugins will in turn control the amps. I also don't fully understand the purpose of plugins on the LMS. Some make sense such as Itunes Integration, or data time which are specific to the functionality of the LMS, but what is the purpose of something like the Amazon CD store plugin. In fact I disabled this plugin but it still appears in the Touchs app gallery which seems to come from mysb. Why does it even need to appear in the LMS. I installed the slacker app, which works great, but where was that actually installed, directly on to my Touch? The link to "On mysqueezebox.com" should appear at the bottom of your list of favorites, whether you are looking at the LMS web interface or the Touch's menu. It may be that you have to activate that with a setting in LMS, but I don't remember for sure. If so, it is probably on the mysqueezebox.com tab in the LMS Settings page. Btw, there is a setting for synchronizing settings between LMS and mysb.com. Adding the Switch to MySB is a great trick, I'd also recommend moving that to the very top of the Home Menu. Couple other tricks or giveaways: - When you go to Favorites and you don't see "On MySqueezeBox.com", you are on LMS. The only way you can differentiate between LMS and mysb,com is to place the Connect to mysb.com menu option on your Home menu. This happened in the morning, Touch is off and LMS is sleeping. I power up the Touch, it starts to wake up my computer but it that takes some time. I went directly to favorites, so the Touch must have grabbed them from mySB. It might be nice to have some indiation in the UI alerting you to which service is connected currently. When you are connected to mysqueezebox.com you will only see Favourites saved specifically at that location. I am still a bit confused about mysqueexebox vs lms contection from the Touch and when it changes. I noticed I lost my favorites that I had saved, but the reason I did was because the Touch was connected to mysqueexebox and I did not make this selection. When I looked at My Music, it reconnected locally to the LMS and my favorites came back. What is the best way to manage this? [SlimDevices: Touch] Pandora's "thumb-up" icon grayed out on Touch...
I infrequently play Pandora tunes via my Touch. Sometimes the "I-like-this-song" (thumbs up) icon is grayed out, and sometimes it is not. Even when the icon is grayed out on the Touch it does not appear to be grayed out on the SB GUI. Does anyone know why this may be so? It's not a big deal, but it's a bit of a mystery.
