Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Squeezebox Touch and Power Switch II ?
I use the PowerSwitch II on my SB3 too. It is controlling the amplifier to power the speakers in my bathroom ceiling. I believe this should be a standard feature in the Squeezebox devices. Due to the lack of a Squeezebox with built in amplifier there are situations where the PowerSwitch plugin is very usefull and this is missing on the Touch. -- Pascal Hibon 1 x SB3, 1 x SB Boom, 1 x SB Radio and 1 x SB Touch - all wireless ReadyNAS NVX running LMS 7.7.1. w iTunes plugin iPeng on iPod Touch. [SlimDevices: Touch] Logitech Media Server won't start
My hard disk crashed yesterday so I re-downloaded Logitech Media Server on to my laptop intending to play some music I have on it. Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Any reason to covert FLAC files to other format?
My personal and highly subjective opinion: If you appreciate the subtle almost-sciencey magic of monocrystal $2000 power cords with vacuums, teflon tape and kevlar socks for improved acoustic dampening, etc., you might want to keep trying. If you're on the sane side on the audiophile spectrum, however, my answer is yeah, forget it, spend the time on listening to music instead. :) -- Soulkeeper -That is not dead which can eternal lie. I've heard some opinion that FLAC files converted to WAV or AIFF files sound better than the original FLAC. Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] best cover size for squeezebox touch?
I seem to recall that when I researching the Touch it was advised to not have artwork larger than 150 x 150 pixels if running it using Tiny SC. That is what I did and had no issues such as you describe. "Please tell me how you got the Touch to "play nicely" with your usb hard drive. I have a 500 gig Maxtor, and have not managed to get them to work properly together yet!" I am not familiar w this drive but it is recommended that one use a USB drive w a power adapter rather than self-powered. That being said I used a Toshiba Canvio 2.0 1TB drive w Tiny SC and had no issues w approximately 18K Flac files w embedded artwork. -- dasmueller dasmueller's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38035 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79210 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch

It sounds like youll need to use the iTunes plugin. You first need to install the plugin (through the plugin tab in LMS). Next enable and configure the iTunes plugin.
