I'm not sure if I'm reading this right, but your loss of artwork and text is due to an incompatibility between a switch and the device? -- ejp ejp's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44297 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=85818 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] No track name, no album art
What's also strange is that if I go to the playlist, it's stuck displaying the last 10 songs in the playlist before the player stopped displaying the track info. (Rather than what is playing right now). -- ejp ejp's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44297 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=85818 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch

When I synchronize my Squeezebox Boom, that displays track info when the Touch stops. Restarting the server helps, but I believe that it's only because the device has to reconnect. Interesting. I can try moving my software to another computer, but I'm not running any backup software. I'll also try to bounce the service the next time it happens and post back here. If it's a server-side issue, I wonder if I'll see the same problem when I sync my Boom up? In any case, I'm switching from a Windows desktop to a Linux desktop. We'll see if it's client-side or server-side then. Thanks! [SlimDevices: Touch] No track name, no album art
I've seen this posted elsewhere a long time ago, but after a search - I can't find it anymore. Sorry if this is redundant. After running on my music -> random mix -> song mix for 10-20 songs, my Squeezebox Touch stops displaying any info about the track. This includes the album, artist, track, or album art. It does display the song name briefly, when it starts the song - but it doesn't behave like it normally should. If I go back to the playlist, it doesn't show anything that was playing recently. The only way I can get it to work normally is to pull the plug and restart the device. I'm running v7.5.3 r9283 on the device and SqueezeServer v7.5.3 r31792 on XP. Any suggestions or advice?
