There are 2 settings in SBS that affect how flac files are played. The default settings are correct. The 2 settings are: 1) Player - Audio - Bitrate Limiting... this should be set to NO 2) Advanced - Filetypes - Fileformat:FLAC, Stream Format: MP3, Decoder:disabled -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal... Quote the settings could be all out of whack, at the time i found a setup guide and turns out mine was sending flac but pretty much playing it in back into mp3, a couple of boxes to uncheck and check and the sound changed drmatically.. Unquote I don't have this issue but are there settings in the SB Touch to confirm playback is FLAC instead of mp3? I am curious.
