Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Playing 24/192 on the Touch downsamples to 44Khz?
This is a bug, all FLAC transcoding will display that bitrate regardless of the actual bitrate. You have to look at the player.source output to see the actual command line used to determine what's going on. Hopefully we can get this fixed soon. -- andyg andyg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3292 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77405 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch

I was worried because playing 24/96 files actually showed numbers in the 2000-3000 range, and all 16/44 files show 700-900 numbers. Therefor I assumed it was downsampling to 16/44. -- MrRalph MrRalph's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22078 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77405 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch

[SlimDevices: Touch] Playing 24/192 on the Touch downsamples to 44Khz?
Using the Touch as a player (not the build-in server) connected to a 7.5.1 - r30561 server and playing a 24/192 file. It looks like it's downsampled to a normal 44K sample rate (the 700kbps in the picture), according to the more info tab on IPeng. I've no idea how to verify this, but think that it should downsample to 24/96 instead.
