I am seeing this bug on Ubuntu 13.10. This was upgraded from 13.04, on an acer laptop with intel 945GM graphics. [Bug 126770] dns failed but I can get IPs through 'dig'
Public bug reported: When using 'dig', it can return an IP address. But when I use the 'ping' , it told me the address can not be resolved(unknown host). Some days before, there's no problem with my network.
