I agree with buzz and can confirm that one still needs to insert the keys needing the forced key release. This report still has some valid points. Although the 2.6.32 kernel now supports the serio force_release sysfs node, the users of the samsung p560 still have to insert which keys needs the forced key release. At the moment i do not know of any database which handels those cases, do you? Furthermore, after the keys are working, there are no backlight changes within the nouveau or within the nvidia driver.
