Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pulseaudio
When I was shutting down, I got an error saying pulseaudio has crashed. The computer shut down before I was able to send the report, so I am sending it now. Pulse Audio was running fine before I shutdown, and if xorg didn't crash on the next time I started my computer, I have a feeling that it would have worked fine then. (As I'm in the command line right now, I know of no way to test it). So, I am just sending this because of the error message, I assume there is something wrong 'under the hood'. BTW, I am using Ubuntu 9.10, with the latest updates (at least in the default update manager), installed. ~Leif ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 AudioDevicesInUse: USER PID ACCESS COMMAND /dev/snd/controlC0: leif 4181 F.... pulseaudio /dev/snd/pcmC0D0p: leif 4181 F...m pulseaudio /dev/snd/pcmC0D0c: leif 4181 F...m pulseaudio Card0.Amixer.info: Card hw:0 'ICH5'/'Intel ICH5 with AD1981B at irq 17' Mixer name : 'Analog Devices AD1981B' Components : 'AC97a:41445374' Controls : 34 Simple ctrls : 23 Date: Sun Sep 6 03:23:10 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: pulseaudio 1:0.9.16~test6-3-g57e1-0ubuntu2 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-9.29-generic SourcePackage: pulseaudio Uname: Linux 2.6.31-9-generic i686 ** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- PulseAudio crashes on shutdown. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/425398 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
