[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 890928] Re: When trying to install libxkbfile1:i386 the pkg manager asks to remove too many important packages [Multi-arch]
I found a workaround: Install libxkbfile (amd and i386) from https://launchpad.net/~tellis/+archive/multiarch/+packages. That solves the problem for the moment. After upgrading everything seems to work chewy and where the windows with 10.04 slided over the desktop now they are jerking. It's a pity to loose the good performance I had before. Please let me know if further information is needed and/or if it is possible to get an improve. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 690755] [NEW] poor graphics performance with nvidia-current in maverick
Public bug reported: With the actual nvidia-current which obviously contains the driver 260.19.06 the graphics performance with my Nvidia 9500 GT is much slower than it was in Lucid. Especially the vdpau device seems not to work. In mplayer I see no difference if I use vdpau output or X11. vdpau-va- driver is installed!
