No, you can delete Pulseaudio or you can use this workaround: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=676699&postcount=51, which disables pulseaudio while you are using squeezeplay (I also tried pasuspender, but that didn't work on my system, YMMV) -- lauret lauret's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17632 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91676 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
[SlimDevices: Unix] NSA310 m4a files non default directory
Idiot linux user help please ! I have copied my m4a music files from an old Buffalo Linkstation (disc dying after a few years of continuous use) to an NSA310 NAS which has 7.5.1 SqueezeCenter already installed. I want to keep my files in the old directory structure to avoid iTunes complaining (it's painful enough to use in the first place) which is in /i-data/md0/.public/share/Family/My Music/Music - can I just add a symbolic link in the old directory above to the /i-data/md0/.music directory that SqueezeCenter appears to look at in this NAS ? (I did a forum search and have changed the audiodir: to the new directory in server.prefs but this doesn't appear to be picked up when I restart the NAS and kick off another music scan i.e. 0 files found). -- FadeToBlack FadeToBlack's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=52482 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92461 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
