Hi @pmendiuk, Sorry for the late reply. Could you share a more detailed log of the error? I don't have a pCP 7 setup yet, but I wonder if there is some package dependency drift since I originally posted the pip requirements in '#14' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?112288-AUDIOPHONICS-RASPDAC-MINI-Kit&p=979971&viewfull=1#post979971). You could try replacing the contents of req.pip with the following, which builds clean for me. Code: aiohttp==3.6.2 async-timeout==3.0.1 attrs==19.3.0 chardet==3.0.4 idna==2.10 luma.core==1.14.1 luma.oled==3.5.0 multidict==4.7.6 pyftdi==0.51.2 pyserial==3.4 pysqueezebox==0.4.0 pyusb==1.0.2 RPi.GPIO==0.7.0 semver==2.10.2 smbus2==0.3.0 spidev==3.4 yarl==1.5.1 -r requirements-common.txt Pillow==7.2.0 --global-option="build_ext" --global-option="--disable-jpeg" --global-option="--disable-zlib" --global-option="--enable-freetype" gregex's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70355 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112288 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Yamaha musiccast
My Music Cast system has a direct plysical analog input into it from my Squeszebox system via an old functional Touch. Alos, the Music Cast system sees my LMS server virtually and I do not have Airplay enabled. I do have the uPnPDLNA plugin enabled. It works pretty well. I have the following Yamaha system: a Yamaha stereo amp, a Yamaha AVR, 3 Music Cast speakers. http://zzzone.net http://have-a-nice-day.org http://www.last.fm/user/zzzoneDOTnet http://somethingsomethingsomething.net SBS 7.9 - i7 nuc - Win 10 64bit 5 Booms, 2 Radio, 3 Touch, 1 Duet, 5 piCorePlayers including 3 touchscreen, 1 Avy 2 controllers, various tablets/phones Apps including iPeng, Squeeze Ctrl etc. 'Library' (http://zzzone.net/photo/2009/music1.jpg): 425,000+ FLAC/MP3 files - 18 TB HD jimzak's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17592 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111695 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Memory Leak in Perl Engine on piCorePlayer?
I re-wired mains and network to the pi and, while I was at it, updated the LMS to Logitech Media Server Version: 8.0.1 - 1607087403 @ Fri Dec 4 14:26:56 CET 2020. It is still showing the same behaviour. I noticed one more thing. A few tracks before Tidal streaming breaks and the pCP interface goes down, the last seconds of tracks are sometimes skipped. The Controller is still counting down the remaining time when the next track suddenly starts playing. Somebody else has already noticed this here:gvh wrote: > The issue I'm getting is that every song is being cut off early, the > next track starts a few seconds before the song is due to end. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Wireless access point on piCorePlayer?
That output looks normal, but some wifi sticks do not support AP mode. Unfortunately its hard to tell without doing alot of manual commands. Try selecting a different channel and see if the AP comes up. Do you have any other wifi sticks? piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Wireless access point on piCorePlayer?
Have you set the IP address properly for your network? You shouldn't need to load anything manually. Running the original piCore wifi.sh is not a good idea. Hello Thank you Paul I activated "reliable" plugin from Philippe . I don't see specific plugin configuration except "activate" but nothing related for a player. I presume there is nothing else to do ? Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Wireless access point on piCorePlayer?
Hello I want to activate Wifi AP capability of my Pi2b connected via Ethernet UTP to enable better wifi coverage for remote control of PicorePlayer. I plug the dongle and it seems to be properly detected: Code: DMESG [3.436577] usb 1-1.3: new high-speed USB device number 4 using dwc_otg [3.585155] usb 1-1.3: New USB device found, idVendor=148f, idProduct=5370, bcdDevice= 1.01 [3.585178] usb 1-1.3: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3 [3.585190] usb 1-1.3: Product: 802.11 n WLAN [3.585201] usb 1-1.3: Manufacturer: Ralink [3.585211] usb 1-1.3: SerialNumber: 1.0 in menu Wifi, I activated AP feature. When I start the stuff, I loose the ethernet connection, so something goes wrong AP Bridge: No AC mode: No IP address: 10.10.10.1 I was wondering if the dongle is properly configured: I installed package wifi.tcz and when launching wifi.sh, it detects properly (but with poor signal) my external wifi network. Any idea on how to make this AP wifi running ? Merci merci !
