Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Where is squeezeplay for xubuntu
Thanks Lauret, with the help of the link http://www.jfwhome.com/2009/11/22/co...-ubuntu-amd64/ I have made Squeezeplay working on Ubuntu 10.10. Unfortunately I can Squeezeplay use only as remote for my other players (Squeezebox Touch/Radio/Classic). If I want to use Squeezeplay as audioplayer on my laptop, I could not get any sound. @Lauret have you sound working with PulseAudio ? -- wowo *Squeezebox*: 1x Touch + 1x 3 Classic + 1x Radio *Logitech Media Server*: Version: 7.7.0 - r33614 *Plugins*: Album Review 2.9.5; Biography 2.9.4; Custom Browse 2.13.3695; Custom Scan 2.8.3692; Song Info 1.1.3422; Song Lyrics 1.1.3445; Trackstat 2.11.3643; YouTube 0.13 *NAS*: QNAP Turbostation TS-239 Pro II (1,6Ghz, 1GB); firmware 3.5.0 Build 0815T; QPKG LogitechMediaServer 7.7.0 *Tag*: MusicBrainz 0.16 (Ubuntu 10.10); Puddletag 0.10.3 (Ubuntu 10.10) 'Last.fm' (www.last.fm/user/Wowotiel) wowo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18033 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91676 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Upgrading to SB 7.5.3 on Ubuntu Lucid (10.10)
I have also installed Ubuntu 10.10 fresh and have had no problems to install Squeezebox Server 7.5.3 (ppa: http://debian.slimdevices.com stable main). The only thing I could imagine is that you forgot to install the Mysql server 5.1 first ? -- wowo *Squeezebox*: 1x Touch + 1x 3 Classic *SqueezeboxServer*: Versie: 7.5.3 - r31792 *Plugins*: Album Review 2.9.3; Biography 2.9.4; Custom Browse 2.10.3296; Custom Scan 2.8.3223; Trackstat 2.10.3031 *NAS*: QNAP Turbostation TS-239 Pro II (1,6Ghz, 1GB); firmware 3.3.6 Build 1110T; QPKG SqueezeBoxServer 7.5.3 *Tag*: MusicBrainz 0.12.1; Mp3tag v2.48 *Other programs*: Album Catalog Creator v2.0.5 'Last.fm' (www.last.fm/user/Wowotiel) wowo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18033 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=85050 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Kubuntu 9.10 and SBS 7.5 and mysql again!
I have installed SBS 7.5 under Ubuntu 9.10 without any problems. Install *first* mysql 5.1 (with Synaptic) before you install SBS 7.5. See attachment.
