Coming to this spell check  and dictionary definitions does voice dream writer 
need Internet connection for that. Are the dictionary is saved locally on your 
phone.

First, let me say that this has become my primary writing app on the iPhone.
I think a bluetooth keyboard makes it much easier to use.
It can be cumbersome, but that is only because it is so powerful.
It has the best spell check feature of any app I have used for writing.
You should spend time with the instructions and then spend more time with the 
instructions until they make sense.
If you put in the time, you won't regret it.
That is my two cents worth.

Keyboard to better create a doc?  Now, with adding voice driven inserts, I

Re: Query about voice dream writer

Hi,

Voice Dream Writer has the ability to move to the next misspelled word, making 
it easier to fix misspellings than in other apps. You can also create headings 
and move by heading as well as paragraph, making it easier to navigate 
documents. It creates plain text files. You can export them to Word and a 
couple of other formats, though. It also has a variety of dictionary options 
and a proofreading mode that helps you check features like capitalization. 
There's also a Find feature. So it has a lot of useful writing tools.

I haven't tried it in a while, but I found it rather difficult to edit
what I had written. I'm having trouble recalling, but I think there
was some issue with the cursor not tracking with what VO reads which
makes editing cumbersome. If I'm wrong and this is no longer the case,
hopefully someone will correct me.
