Re: Mavericks - Sync contact, events

2013-11-04 Thread Ronda Brown
As long as you are not experiencing ANY problems/issues on your current setup.
And don't just rush in without doing all the pre-updating of your current
applications, check your non generic applications, add-ons/plugins and printer
etc are going to be compatible & work in Mavericks.

Then do the Backup & Preparation, this has all been posted on WAMUG before.

Re: ipad 2 ios 7 - video

2013-11-04 Thread Ronda Brown
Hi Gary,

Have you updated to iOS 7.0.2? If not that is the first thing to do.
iTunes can convert video to iOS iPad format.

Are you playing (trying to play) these videos in safari on your iPad 2?
Do you have the VLC for iOS installed on your iPad? VLC plays all your video
formats for free.
VLC for iOS 2.1.3

If nothing above helps:
Try a System Reset. It cures many problems and it's quick, easy and harmless...

Hold down the On/Off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see
the Apple logo.
Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.
You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.

Cheers,
Ronni

Mm !
So the decimal will be misused somewhat to achieve the new name !
Being OSX 10.10
Interesting.

PS: Hi Bill. I am not quite with you re using the name “OSX 10.7.5” for the
next BIG OS change.
Surely that has been used already !

Hi Stephen,

Apple is said to already have diverted the majority of its OS X and iOS
resources to development of the next two Apple operating systems: OS X 10.10
and iOS 8.
