[Bug 26256] Accept and reject buttons are too similar
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=26256 Rob Lanphier changed: What|Removed |Added AssignedTo|ro...@wikimedia.org |bhar...@wikimedia.org --- Comment #2 from Rob Lanphier 2010-12-06 07:49:27 UTC --- We did intend to replace it with something (e.g. icons on the buttons), but didn't have time for the proper solution. I felt pretty strongly that the current all-black, all-the-time button text was better than the button scheme, which I think Brandon concurred with me on (though I'm not positive I checked wiht him). Anyway, it's good we have an issue logged to make sure we do this right. Assigning to Brandon for a quick mockup when he gets the chance. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l

[Bug 26261] New: Bundle ParserFunctions extension with MediaWiki
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=26261 Summary: Bundle ParserFunctions extension with MediaWiki Product: MediaWiki Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: Normal Component: General/Unknown AssignedTo: wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org ReportedBy: b...@mzmcbride.com CC: tstarl...@wikimedia.org Given that the new installer now has the option to enable extensions that are located in $IP/extensions, the ParserFunctions extension should come bundled with MediaWiki. This bug is not about including ParserFunctions in core. It is about including the ParserFunctions code in the extensions directory by default, which would allow the installer to enable it if the user chooses to do so. ParserFunctions has become nearly essential for a MediaWiki installation. Requiring end users to install the extension separately is a completely unnecessary hurdle. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 26234] CentralNotice moves content down when a link to a heading is followed

Not really, as far as i can tell, the behaviour happens because the central notice is loaded by js independently of the page. So depending on the order of thingies happening in your browser, it will get moved down if the central notice loads after the rest of the page (or whenever fragment identifiers/targets/whatever they're called get processed by the browser). Since the central notice takes up room, so the rest of the page is moved down to make room for it, which is noticeable if you're not at top of the page. However the ekiga behaviour you describe is quite weird. >...but bringing you to the top to make you read the banner does... https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=26254 --- Comment #3 from Basket of Puppies 2010-12-05 21:15:46 UTC --- A bit of backround might be necessary for understanding why I am requesting this- I am the victim of cyberstalking and harassment. There are at least two long-term abusers who regularly post harassing, sexually inappropriate and stalkerish messages on my user and talk pages. Those pages have been indefinitely semi-protected, but these stalkers simply make new accounts and overcome the very low threshold for autoconfirmaiton. Full protection would disable editors-in-good-standing from communicating with me, which is not at all my goal. Raising the threshold for editing on my user and talk pages would help tremendously and likely prevent additional stalking. (Please be aware that I have already gone to the police about this issue.
